Feeling comfortable and understood by your therapist is an important part of the work. Because fit is personal, it’s often helpful to have brief conversations with a few practitioners to help determine who feels like the right match. New clients are welcome to book a complimentary 20-minute consultation by phone or video to see whether working together feels like a good fit.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) (#10957) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I have completed my M.Ed. in Counselling Psychology at the University of Ottawa.

There's no one-size-fits-all answer. The number of sessions depends on what you're working through, your goals and how you respond to psychotherapy. Some people come in for a few sessions to work through a specific issue, while others benefit from longer-term support.

That said, many clients start to notice some shifts within the first 6-8 sessions and we'll check in regularly about your progress and whether we're on the right track. Sessions are collaborative and we'll adjust the pace and length together based on what's actually helping.

My current rate is $150 per 50 minute session.

I accept payment by credit card through the Jane App.

Services provided by Registered Psychotherapists (RP) are not currently covered by OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance Plan). Many extended and private health insurance plans provide coverage for psychotherapy services. Coverage varies by plan and if you are unsure, it is best to confirm with your insurance provider directly.

Please note that I do not currently offer direct billing through insurance providers. Sessions are paid for directly by the client. Receipts are provided for clients who wish to claim reimbursement through their extended insurance plan.

I require 24 hours notice if you cannot attend your scheduled session. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice you will be charged the full session fee. Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you and this policy is in place to ensure fairness and availability for all clients.
